SATIATED

Definition of SATIATE
: to satisfy (as a need or desire) fully or to EXCESS!

Distracted and Satiated by sinful pleasure? Don't be. Look around, pay attention. Do you hear His beckoning? That "still small voice"? Read your Bible. Are you to busy and distracted by the pleasures that satiate to hear "the Lover of your soul", that knows you. That has a plan for you, right where you are at. Where is your confidence? Is it in your own understanding?

He is... Psalm 119:105 ...a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Take the time to consider a moment and all that is involved around you at that moment. Not just in your immediate surroundings but next door, how about the next block? Don't forget to look up and see all that is going on. The birds flying overhead just now, the clouds as they are formed because of the moisture that is or is not present, where the sun is located, or the moon. How about where the stars are in our galaxy, where the galaxy's are in relation to one another?

Every moment is unique and unrepeatable. Can you possibly anticipate the next moment? Don't try. Know this, that the Lover of your Soul is not surprised by what you did not see coming. And even though He was telling you to get ready and you didn't understand, He still can show you the way through.

So don't be distracted, pay attention, and allow the Lover of your Soul to guide you in the way that you should go.
